Mechanized Enterprises began serving the manufacturing industry as a conventional machine shop over 25 years ago, building custom tooling. One of our earliest customers is a lock manufacturer. We became a key supplier for them as we helped to develop and build automated assembly equipment to assemble locks on a production basis reducing their assembly costs by nearly 30% and reducing their scrap rate by over 53%. Mechanized Enterprises was one of the 1st machine shops in California to recognize the need for CNC (Computerized Numerical Control) machinery. The accuracy and repeatability of the CNC machines fit well with our customer's needs. The CNC machines proved to be cost savings investment for the demands of the industry. Today we have a modern facility where 80% of our work is CNC related and we still have a conventional tool room to provide tooling for our internal requirements as well as provide tooling services for our customers. We have a commitment to provide the most cost effective methods to our customers by investing in CNC technolohy and we currently have (3) CNC Milling machines and (3) CNC lathes and a CMM. We have a CAD engineering department that downloads CNC programs directly to the machines. We have found that the CNC machinery has improved the accuracy of machined components and most of all they have reduced the cost of manufacturing for you..
